Where is the work:
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
The Role:
Contract Analyst, reporting directly to the Territory Leader, Contract Management, Trane Commercial North America.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide support to Commercial Sales Offices in completion of essential bid documentation.
• Conduct review of all customer documents referred to the Contract Management department.
• Check submitted documents for completeness and compliance with Company policy.
• This position will help our sales organization close more profitable business, while managing exposure to risks inherent with all bid and contract documents.
• Conduct initial review of customer agreement referred to department by both WorkSight and Sales Offices to determine method of acknowledgement of customer agreement.
• Analyze department metrics and complete quarterly report to Executive Management. Provide administrative support for the department.
• Occasionally travel to Trane North America commercial sales offices to enhance business relationships and market and train on the Contract Management processes and policies
• Provide ongoing virtual training to GTP classes, as well as commercial sales offices on the Contract Management process and policies.
Qualifications:
• Has strong knowledge of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures. HVAC industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Requires associate degree in business, legal studies, paralegal or related field. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience making presentations to large and small groups of people preferred.
• Ability to quickly read and understand complex documents and contracts required.
• Ability to apply well-developed written and oral communication skills required.
• Must be able to apply well-developed personal computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment required.
• Must be able to meet short and long term deadlines and goals.
• Ability to exercise good judgment required.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
