What's in it for you:

Trane in the Texas Gulf-Coast Region is hiring for a Light Commercial Sales Leader to join our team.In this role, you will function as regional sales leader for light commercial business sold through the Equipment revenue stream.You will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention with contractor accounts.Sales constitutes all the processes and functions required for obtaining inside/outside sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.This position is responsible for greater than $50M in Revenue.

What you will do:

  • Overall responsibility for the following functions: customer and district sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, maximizing account penetration, market penetration, customer retention, hiring and on-boarding of new sales associates, continued assessment of skills and administering necessary training, setting quotas, accurate sales forecasting and consistent use of Trane sales tools and systems.

  • Physical presence to lead sales meetings and participate with customer activities in markets expected weekly.

  • Responsible for achieving annual objectives regarding profit, volume, margins, business mix, and share.

  • Manage ongoing performance by monitoring and coaching Account Managers' effectiveness and efficiency in relation to project attainments, customer service, customer relationship development, and business profitability.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and sales team as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university

  • 5+ years of related experience in a sales leadership role.

  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.

  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

$122,700.00 - $242,934.99
