As a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, Fiducial provides the financial back office infrastructure to clients, allowing them to focus on what they do best: serve their customers.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for our accounting staff. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Develop Training Programs: Create and implement training programs tailored to the needs of our accounting team, including new hires and ongoing professional development.
  2. Conduct Training Sessions: Lead engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to ensure accountants are well-versed in company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  3. Assess Training Needs: Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop strategies to address skill gaps.
  4. Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  5. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in accounting standards, regulations, and technologies to ensure training content is current and relevant.
  6. Support Compliance: Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  7. Provide Coaching: Offer one-on-one coaching and support to accountants to help them achieve their professional goals.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed primarily in an indoor office environment, free from extreme weather conditions. Work may include a moderate amount of noise (business office with computers, phone and printers)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

TRAINING, ACADEMIC AND EXPERIENTIAL REQURIEMENTS:

  1. Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Education, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with at least 2 years in a training or instructional role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
  2. Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
  3. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
