Salary:

The Weitz Company is hiring a Training & Enablement Manager to support our Mission Critical team. The Training & Enablement Manager will collaborate with corporate functional teams to identify, develop, and deliver training initiatives that strengthen workforce readiness and technical capability across the team. This role will serve as the liaison between Mission Critical and corporate departments including Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Operational Excellence. This person will play a key role in ensuring that training solutions are aligned with operational priorities, development needs, and enterprise standards.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform needs analysis to assess workforce skill gaps and recommend learning solutions aligned with business outcomes in partnership
  • Consult with leadership to develop training plans across various projects and locations
  • Ensure consistency while customizing training based upon project/team needs and creating scalable learning frameworks
  • Coordinate with the Learning & Development and Operational Excellence teams to maximize existing in-house learning and development content/programming
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop business unit and/or product line specific content and technical training to support learning objectives
  • Maintain Mission Critical business unit onboarding programs for new hires while measuring effectiveness and proposing improvements
  • Work with HR and Operations leadership to recommend leadership development programs, 360, and professional coaching for team members
  • Measure Mission Critical training program effectiveness through performance metrics, retention data, promotion rates, and employee feedback
  • Capture lessons learned from project teams, identify trends, and recommend actions to cure deficiencies
  • Coordinate and facilitate peer partner and mentoring relationships in partnership with HR and Learning & Development
  • Track training completion, certifications, qualifications, and compliance requirements

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in training, learning and development, workforce development, or similar role is required
    • Construction industry or related industry experience is a plus
    • Bachelors degree with a focus on Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Adult Education, or similar field required an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Skills:
    • Strong facilitation, coaching, and instructional design skills
    • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
    • Skilled at performing needs analysis with a strong understanding of adult learning
    • Flexibility to balance multiple projects and shift priorities based upon business needs
    • High attention to detail and strong business acumen
    • Analytical with excellent decision-making skills
    • High level of professionalism and tact
  • Technology:
    • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) and virtual training platforms is required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to work in the office 5 days per week
    • Ability and willingness to travel on average 1-2 times per month with a high likelihood of heavier travel while onboarding
