Position summary:

The Product Training Manager - Americas owns the strategy, development, and execution of product training primarily focused on the Americas region. This role ensures The Americas sales teams, customer-facing teams, distributors, channel partners, and end users have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to successfully apply and promote Weiler solutions.

The position combines training leadership, content development, and field application support to drive product adoption, support new product launches, and strengthen commercial success. Working cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, HR, and subject matter experts, the role develops scalable training programs delivered through classroom, digital (Learning Management System), and hands-on formats.

Essential job functions and responsibilities:

Product Training & Enablement

  • Develop and execute the product training strategy and curriculum for the Americas region.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve training content, including presentations, videos, manuals, application guides, and digital learning materials.
  • Identify training needs and implement programs to address knowledge gaps.
  • Manage training delivery through instructor-led, virtual, and LMS-based platforms.
  • Measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Enable internal trainers and sales teams to deliver approved training programs.

Training Delivery

  • Plan and conduct technical product and application training for employees, distributors, channel partners, and customers.
  • Coordinate annual training schedules, materials, facilities, and demonstration equipment.
  • Support onboarding and technical development programs for new employees.

Product Launch & Commercial Enablement

  • Lead training readiness activities for new product launches.
  • Develop launch training materials and technical documentation.
  • Support trade shows, customer events, demonstrations, and technical presentations.
  • Ensure consistent product messaging and technical positioning across regions.
  • Conduct product performance and competitive evaluations.
  • Support product testing and validation activities.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge resources and share insights with commercial teams.
  • Serve as a central resource for product, application, and competitive knowledge

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Training certification or related experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering technical training to adult learners.
  • 5+ years of industrial application support and customer-facing experience.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
  • Strong presentation, communication, project management, and curriculum development skills.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms preferred.
  • Industrial consumables, abrasives, or portable power tool experience preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 40% including both domestic and international
