Job description

Wage - $60,000 - $64,000 annually

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

MTC is proud to operate the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want YOU to join our team!

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the management of career technical training (CTT) programs and oversight of training programs in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions: 

  1. Monitor and manage all instructors with the CTT department to ensure full compliance regarding teaching strategies and classroom management. 
  2. Maintain liaison with national training contractors (NTC).
  3. Evaluate curricula, instructional materials, methods, and techniques.
  4. Provide personal, motivational and training-related counseling to students; manage, recommend and participate in student counseling activities; develop individualized training plans. 
  5. Monitor all CTT slots to include advanced training and ensure all training slots are full, to include all advanced training CTT offerings as well as basic training. 
  6. Coordinate the development of training materials with the programs director. 
  7. Monitor and assist with student scheduling and attendance functions to ensure accountability and maximum benefit to the students.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED AND REQUESTED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years related experience and two (2) of which must be in a managerial capacity.  
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
