Maximus is seeking an experienced and motivated Training Manager to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. This position is responsible for leading training initiatives, supporting employee development, and ensuring learning programs align with operational and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and communicator with experience developing training programs, analyzing performance data, coaching teams, and partnering with business leaders and stakeholders.
This is a hybrid-remote position in Topeka, KS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage collaboration with stakeholders to perform needs analysis, develop learning objectives and design deliverables that meet the business needs and organizational quality standards.
- Create and organize training sessions, and deliver instructor led training programs as needed to achieve business outcomes and effective transfer of learning in the workplace.
- Forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that both tactical and strategic goals and outcomes are met.
- Develop and implement training programs and materials to ensure business requirements are met for effective operation programs.
- Complete hiring and performance management processes to support a high performing training team.
- Provide confidential coaching/facilitation and work closely with all levels of operation staff to ensure the integrity of the program and provide highly skilled feedback on operations staff performance in scheduled training and informal skills-based coaching.
- Ensure Training Specialists and Operations staff are provided with up-to-date knowledge of project related updates, processes, and procedures.
- Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs developed or administered through evaluation, testing, and assessment of program outcomes.
- Review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs.
- Develop assessments to measure and assess effectiveness of the curriculum and learner performance in the workplace, integrating results into new and existing course curriculum.
- Maintain a library of training aids.
- Conduct training needs analyses and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning requirements and business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain training programs, curriculum, and instructional materials to support operational and contractual requirements.
- Lead the design, development, scheduling, and delivery of instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
- Ensure employees receive timely training on new processes, systems, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, testing, performance metrics, and learner feedback, making enhancements as needed.
- Manage the development and maintenance of training assessments and certification programs to validate employee readiness and performance.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Leadership teams to identify skill gaps and implement targeted learning solutions.
- Provide coaching, facilitation, and performance feedback to employees and leaders to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Review and update existing training programs and materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for training-related initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of learning strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop training staff, including oversight of hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development activities.
-Support regulatory, healthcare, and contractual training requirements to ensure compliance with applicable program standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, call center operations, healthcare operations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
- Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating instructor-led training programs.
- Experience coaching employees and providing performance feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to lead classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training initiatives.
