Job description

A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator to join its Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating learning initiatives, supporting employee development, and creating a seamless training experience from onboarding through ongoing professional development.


This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to join a collaborative HR team with long-term growth potential.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and administer employee training programs, including new hire onboarding and ongoing learning initiatives

• Manage all training logistics, including scheduling, communications, attendance tracking, and training materials

• Coordinate approximately four organization-wide training programs annually

• Track employee training completion and maintain accurate training records within the Learning Management System (LMS)

• Support the administration and coordination of the organization's performance evaluation process

• Prepare presentations, reports, and training materials using Microsoft Office

• Maintain and update training records in HealthStream and generate reports as needed

• Partner with HR and department leaders to ensure employees complete required training and development activities

• Monitor training deadlines and follow up with employees and managers as needed

• Assist with additional Human Resources and Learning & Development projects


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Training Coordination, or a related field

• Previous experience coordinating employee training programs from an HR or Learning & Development perspective

• Experience using a Learning Management System preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Detail-oriented with a proactive, customer-service mindset
