Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a UH-60 Maintenance Training Device Subject Matter Expert to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is hiring a UH-60 Black Hawk maintenance subject matter expert to support our Army aviation customer. This is a hands-on technical role focused on verifying training aligns with current aircraft configurations. In addition, the SME will lend maintenance expertise to PeopleTec's broader virtual maintenance training development efforts.

Duties:

  • Conduct configuration audits of UH-60 TADSS to confirm training content is concurrent with current aircraft configuration and maintenance processes; identify and document red-line discrepancies.
  • Compare the tasks currently trained on each device against the full set of tasks the device was designed to support, and document the gaps.
  • Capture device utilization across a representative set of classes - including both POI-directed use and informal, off-POI use - to support an estimated annual utilization rate.
  • Coordinate on site with government training leads, instructors, and the TADSS lead at the supported location.
  • Provide maintenance SME input to virtual and AI maintenance training development when not engaged in audit activities.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of UH-60L/M maintenance experience as a crew chief, maintenance test pilot, or warrant officer maintenance technician.
  • Working knowledge of UH-60 maintenance trainers and TADSS, or demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on a specific device set.
  • Familiarity with Programs of Instruction (POIs) and how training devices are employed within them.
  • Travel:  Approximately 25% (typically one to two trips per month), subject to government travel approval; Willingness to travel routinely to JBLE, VA (periodic TDY to JBLE, VA)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, as well as to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • BS degree with 10-12 years of experience; equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree.

Desired Skills:

  • Recent assignment at or supporting the JBLE aviation training enterprise.
  • Familiarity with Training Development Capability (TDC), Central Army Registry (CAR), etc.
  • Experience with maintenance trainer configuration management or fielding.
