Job Overview
The Learning & Development Partner supports a facility, function, or business unit by identifying learning needs, designing and delivering training solutions, and helping build a strong learning culture and continued people development. This role partners with leaders, trainers, and subject matter experts to support onboarding, safety, quality, compliance, technical skill development, and leader capability. The Partner also helps maintain learning systems, training records, and reporting while using feedback and performance data to improve the effectiveness of learning solutions.
Highlights of your role
  • Assess training and development needs in partnership with site or business leaders and align learning priorities to business needs.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver learning solutions for onboarding, compliance, safety, quality, technical skills, and role development.
  • Partner with trainers, supervisors, and subject matter experts to develop materials, support knowledge transfer, and strengthen training consistency.
  • Maintain training records, learning assignments, and LMS administration activities, and support required reporting for the facility or business.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback, observation, and performance data, and recommend improvements when needed.
  • Support change initiatives, process updates, and operational priorities by ensuring learning plans and communication are clear and practical.
  • Build strong working relationships across Operations, HR, EHS, Quality, and other partners to support employee development and business performance.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, business, organizational development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, facilitation, or operations support.
  • Ability to build partnerships, influence others, and work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with learning systems, training records, reporting, or other administrative learning processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, or other fast-paced business environments is preferred.
