Training Development Assistant

The Opportunity:

As a trainer, you're passionate about delivering differentiated instruction in exciting ways. You know that learning styles vary, and you thrive in helping people grasp new information. Bring your passion for delivering an array of training programs to Radio Battalion-level signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare (EW), cyberspace operations, and tactical communications missions in support of the Marine Corps.

As a trainer on our team, you'll plan, organize, and provide in-person synchronous and asynchronous instruction for our internal partner through live audience instruction. You'll showcase your technical expertise and industry knowledge, and collaborate to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems. In this role, you'll be armed with the resources you need to excel, including command-staff level engagement to focus current and emerging training needs.

Be empowered to tap into your institutional knowledge, creative thinking, and teaching leadership experience to manage and deliver training using training design, curriculum development, and adult learning methodologies to create engaging curriculum and associated learning objectives, ensuring a variety of learning styles for learners' needs. You'll use classroom settings and immersive environments to cultivate a learning environment that actively promotes learner engagement. Your skills will ensure that we deliver the best quality of instruction.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with SIGINT, EW, cyberspace operations, DNEA, or crypto-linguistics, including within a U.S. Marine Corps or joint-service setting
  • Experience with training design, curriculum development, and adult learning methodologies
  • Knowledge of U.S. Marine Corps orders, training and readiness manuals, and doctrinal publications and references
  • Ability to develop scenario-driven exercises simulating operational challenges, and integrate lessons learned processes
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • RPT 2238G Basic Analytic andRPTG 2318 USSID18, or RPTG 4397 Editor and RPTG 4398 Releaser Certifications

Nice If You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field
  • Completion of the FUSE 2200 Fused Platform Tracking, SIGE 2120 Apprentice OpElint, SIGE 2810 Intro to Radar Theory, OTHT 2000 FIT-C, SIGP 1800 Basic Technical Proforma, and SIGP 2500 Intro to OpProforma Courses

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
