Job description

Duties As a SCO MANAGEMENT TRAINING COORDINATOR at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: * The incumbent is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of the programs, policies, and procedures involved in managing pre-assignment training, including pre-deployment, in-service, and sustainment, of personnel (Service Members, U.S. Government Civilian Employees, and Locally Employed Staff) selected for overseas assignments in US Military Groups (MILGPs). * The incumbent performs a variety of administrative, support, and management activities essential for day-to-day operations across diverse organizations and missions. * Conducts training strategy and program development, creating comprehensive training strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals. * Develops and maintain mechanisms to report global training and certification levels across all specialties. * Manage the Security Cooperation workforce training pipeline by tracking certification requirements, coordinating course enrollment, and ensuring personnel complete mandatory training prior to overseas assignment. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: * Formulate comprehensive, global training strategies and certification programs for the organization * Identify workforce gaps, assess the global training population, and establish qualification pathways for Service Members, Government Civilians and Locally Employed Staff * Evaluate complex budgetary requirements required to achieve full force certification * Design advance tacking mechanisms to report global readiness and certification levels to senior executive leadership . Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
