Industrial Maintenance Helper | Heavy Equipment | Quarry
Location: Woodstock, ON
Pay: $28.15/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term
Shifts: Afternoon 3:30 PM–1:30 AM | Night 9:45 PM–6:45 AM

About the Role
We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Helper for a busy quarry and heavy industrial operation. This is a hands-on role for a mechanically inclined candidate with experience in mechanical maintenance, industrial machinery and equipment repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs
  • Work on conveyors, gearboxes, screens and other industrial machinery
  • Use hand and power tools for repairs and fitting
  • Assist with basic MIG, TIG or Arc welding
  • Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers and forklifts after training
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Follow strict safety and PPE procedures
  • Work outdoors year-round, including extreme heat, cold and dusty conditions
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of heavy industrial, quarry, mining, cement or similar experience
  • Hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and power tool experience
  • Experience with industrial machinery preferred
  • Heavy equipment experience is an asset
  • Basic welding/fitting experience is an asset
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space certification preferred
  • Must pass respirator fit testing and be clean-shaven where the respirator seals
  • Able to work afternoon/night shifts and overtime
