Scope and Assignment
  • Evaluating current workforce and determining skills gaps
  • Upskilling towards craft skills gaps
  • Pre-employment skills verifications
  • Training and development of craft workforce

Functional Areas of Responsibility

  • NCCER Crew Leadership Training
  • Coordination of Training with Jobsite Management Teams

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver and coordinate craft training and front-line leadership training
  • Prepare all materials for training sessions
  • Coordinate training, track attendance, give feedback, gauge effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Create, collaborate, and coordinate with subject matter experts to develop training manuals, procedures, scripts, charts, and course content
  • Work with the Director of Talent Development to identify training needs
  • Work with all levels of management in support of development plans for all jobsite employee-owners
  • Provide feedback and monthly reports to leadership
  • Determine current workforce skills gaps and upskill to meet needs
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Talent Development

Qualifications Required for this Position
Education
  • Must be NCCER Certified in at least one of the following: Boilermaker, Pipefitting, or Millwright
  • Highschool Diploma required

Experience
  • 5+ years of industry related field experience required in either Boilermaker, Pipefitting, or Millwright
  • Training Program Development experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a trainer preferred

Other Requirements
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Must contain a TWIC or possess the ability to obtain one
  • Must contain a valid Driver's License
  • Be able to pass standard background checks and D/A tests
