The Manager in Training (MIT) is not yet a manager - instead, they are the gold standard for what it means to be a Crunch employee. MITs are the shining example of excellence: they know every process, follow every checklist, and bring the Crunch Core Values to life in everything they do.
The MIT's role is to model flawless execution, mentor teammates by example, and help train new staff while delivering Legendary Service to every member.

Core Responsibilities:
Process Mastery & SOP Adherence
• Become certified and fluent in all Crunch SOPs, checklists, and systems
• Model perfect execution of opening, mid-day, and closing procedures
• Consistently demonstrate sales scripting, tour delivery, and kickoff support at the highest standard
• Serve as the "go-to" for staff questions on policies, processes, and culture
Staff Mentorship & Training Support
• Assist GM/AGM in onboarding new hires by modeling behaviors and walking them through procedures
• Shadow peers on tours, kickoffs, and front desk interactions - providing feedback when directed
• Reinforce Crunch Core Values in daily interactions with staff
• Lead by example to set the cultural tone of discipline, pride, and Legendary Service
Legendary Member Service
• Deliver unforgettable service to every member and guest
• Greet, engage, and build rapport to create raving fans
• Resolve member questions or concerns with positivity, escalating to leadership when needed
• Always uphold a professional, high-energy, and enthusiastic demeanor
Club Cleanliness & Presentation
• Act as a daily guardian of the club's visual standards
• Participate in walkthroughs and ensure no detail is overlooked
• Help enforce accountability among peers by modeling cleaning checklists and attention to detail
• Create a facility members consistently describe as "the cleanest gym they've ever been in"
