We're Hiring: Training SpecialistLocation: On-site in Santa Fe, NMSchedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:30 PMStatus: Full-Time (40 hours/week)Starting Pay: $26.00/hourGuadalupe Credit Union is looking for a Training Specialist to join our team! In this role you will be Responsible for developing and empowering internal team members in alignment with Guadalupe Credit Union's (GCU) mission, values, culture, and philosophy, with a strong focus on financial empowerment. This role enhances employee performance and effectiveness by implementing individual and group training programs that support GCU's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Include:Lead and deliver employee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs to ensure a smooth transition and consistent learning experience. Facilitate engaging training sessions (in-person and virtual) while promoting company values, policies, and compliance requirements. Manage training platforms, schedules, and records, ensuring all employee development activities and compliance trainings are tracked and up to date. Collaborate with management to identify training needs, develop materials, and support employee growth, advancement, and performance improvement. Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance evaluations, making continuous improvements to align with organizational goals.Requirements:Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience delivering training, facilitating learning,developing training programs. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. (1) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or (2) completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.Preferred Experience: Experience in a financial institution with knowledge of consumer lending, deposit accounts, and financial products.Physical Requirements:This position involves extended periods of sitting and computer work, regular verbal communication and active listening with members by phone and electronically, and occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 15 pounds. Additional Info:After your application is reviewed, you may receive an email invitation to complete a short skills assessment.
