BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOB
As the People Development Manager, you will architect our learning strategy and directly build high-impact content. In this role, you will lead organizational needs assessments to identify performance gaps, design structured learning pathways, and roll up your sleeves to develop engaging, multi-modal curriculums and e-learning content. The ideal candidate is a true "player-coach" equally skilled at setting long-term training strategy and executing in the trenches to deliver measurable business results.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads a team accountable for the performance and results of a function or a business.
  • Executes assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
  • Promotes a culture of open communication.
  • Manages and interacts with employees in the People Development function.
  • Drives the day-to-day operations of the People Development function.
  • Oversees, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the work activities of function support staff.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Conducts need assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee, management, and company effectiveness.
  • Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters.
  • Acts as a liaison and advisor to the company's management and employees.
  • Develops and implements systems and curriculums to support effective and engaging performance management and skills building.
  • Develops, facilitates, and evaluates succession planning and career pathing criteria, eligibility, plans and successors.
  • Develops, facilitates, and evaluates Leadership training and curriculum.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements solutions to improve both our short and long-term engagement programs and employee experience.
  • Provides program visibility.
  • Develops and implements metrics to track the impact and ROI of initiatives on employee retention and OKR attainment.
  • Create and maintain project budgets, tools, and resources.
  • Promotes workplace diversity, inclusion, and best practices.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and/or Training
  • 3-5 years' experience in human resources and/or training and development, and at least three years of management experience.
  • Must have considerable knowledge of principles and practices of employment law, implementing and executing training programs
  • Must have effective verbal and written communications skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be extremely organized and meticulous with details.
  • Must be able to adapt and work under pressure in fast paced, demanding work environment through multi-tasking, and prioritized multiple tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, prepare routine reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Ability and motivation to review and recommend improvements to processes and procedures to help maintain efficiency.
  • Willingness to learn other areas of Human Resources to provide back-up and training as needed.
