YOUR ROLE
Are you known for your management skills? Are you passionate about customer support and driving results? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to oversee ongoing customer service, focusing on the daily operations to achieve the needs of the customer.
Responsible for coordinating, delivering and monitoring training for an assigned field location to support the company's strategic goals, objectives and initiatives; and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, ISO guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
• Coordinate, schedule, deliver and monitor all training for an assigned field location.
• Conduct evaluations of training, compile results and report to Corporate Training and Development as required.
• Create, maintain and audit employee training records for an assigned field location.
• Facilitate the operation and demonstration of the internal learning management system and training repository.
• Update training materials and/or guides as directed by Corporate Training and Development or local management staff.
• Coordinate training initiatives and events including travel arrangements for participants when necessary.
• Ensure a positive and consistent corporate image and approach is integrated throughout all training efforts.
• Ensure all training is performed in compliance with company policies and employment laws and regulations.
• Participate in training programs to remain current in the training and development field.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledgeable of training practices, principles, applications, methods and laws as they pertain to training.
• Knowledgeable of adult learning principles.
• PC Literate. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific applications.
• Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
• Strong conceptual thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition and handle stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization. Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and patience.
• Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
• Proven track record of superior customer service.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Trucks
Must have PIT Operator experience.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• High School Degree or GED.
• Minimum two to three years related experience in Training and Organizational Development.
• Demonstrated success in delivering quality training for a broad range of positions ranging from warehouse personnel, finance, clerical, human resources, IT, engineers, operations and sales staff to senior level executives.
Preferred:
• Associate's Degree in Organization Development, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Minimum one year industry experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle Learning Management System or equivalent system.
