Job Title:

MQ-9 Sensor Operator

FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Titan Echelon is seeking an MQ-9 Sensor Operator to act as a crewmember of assigned Unmanned Air Vehicle (s) (UAV). Sensor operators will be tasked with academic and in-flight instruction, evaluations, and will act as the subject matter expert of the various sensors on the assigned aircraft. Sensor operators will work with the Pilots on all elements of mission planning and execution to include briefing/debriefing, aircrew resource management and ground/flight safety

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Support in all elements of ground and flight operations including mission planning,executionand briefing/debriefing.
  • Support in aircrew resource management and safety.
  • Assistin defining,planningand organizing complex flightprogram.
  • Comply withservice guidance, customers’ policies and procedures, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulation and foreign Nation Aviation Authority (NAA) Regulations and Civil Laws to ensure operations are conducted to the highest safety standards.
  • Develop,writeand implement training programs for integration of new and legacy UAV sensors.
  • Able to travelto,deploy from andstand upremote sites worldwide for safe flight operations.
  • Available to conduct 24/7 operations without scheduling restrictions.
  • Able tomaintainproficiencyin two aerial platforms simultaneously.
  • Able toassistin all functionsrequiredtooperatea flying operation.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Associate’sdegree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain/maintaina DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • Current FAA Class 2 medical or DoD equivalent.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours of flight time in medium or larger UAS/UAVs
  • US Passport: Current and Unrestricted
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of thetime
  • Able to lift 40 pounds and carry load 100 yards withoutassistance
  • Valid Military Form 8 in MQ-1/9
  • 1,000 hours in MQ-1/9
  • LRE qualification in MQ-1/9
  • MQ-1/9 Instructor/Evaluator Sensor Operator with valid and current form 8
  • PMATS/MJAT simulation experience
  • Active Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
  • Experience in deployedlocations
  • Experience working in Standards and Evaluations, Training, Scheduling
  • Experience in International Airspace
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
