Job description

Salary: 90,000-110,000

Support Global MQ-9 Operations

Join the team responsible for operating and sustaining the networks that enable MQ-9 Reaper missions around the world.

As a Network Administrator supporting the MQ-9 Enterprise Centralized Network Operations Center (C-NOC), you will monitor, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain the critical infrastructure that supports aircraft control, ISR dissemination, satellite communications, and cross-domain connectivity across the MQ-9 enterprise.

This is not a help desk position. You will work directly with operational networks supporting real-world missions in a fast-paced environment alongside experienced network engineers, systems administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and Air Force mission partners.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations

  • Monitor and maintain enterprise MQ-9 network infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching environments
  • Support transport, boundary, and encrypted communications systems
  • Assist with network provisioning and operational changes
  • Support live operational missions with minimal downtime

Troubleshooting & Incident Response

  • Investigate connectivity, routing, and performance issues
  • Support geographically dispersed MQ-9 sites worldwide
  • Coordinate troubleshooting efforts across multiple organizations
  • Escalate mission-impacting outages and provide resolution support

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Assist with STIG implementation and security compliance
  • Support vulnerability remediation efforts
  • Maintain network configuration backups and documentation
  • Participate in RMF and cybersecurity sustainment activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Security+ CE (or equivalent IAT Level II certification)
  • 3+ years of network administration experience
  • Experience with Cisco routing and switching
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA Certification
  • Experience supporting DoD networks
  • NOC, SOC, or enterprise operations experience
  • Knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, and network segmentation
  • Experience with SATCOM, ISR, or mission systems
  • Familiarity with HAIPE, TACLANE, or encrypted transport solutions
