A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the US Data Center market across Eastern Region , covering GA, SC, NC, VA, WV, and PA based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will combine strategic business development with hands-on account management to drive tangible sales targets. You will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and position our portfolio of Power distribution, Energy storage, and Onsite power generation solutions within the rapidly growing data center industry. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in business development and sales, ideally with experience in electrical infrastructure, energy systems, or technology solutions for data centers.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Drive business growth across the US Eastern Region by identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities within the data center market.
  • Promote and position Siemens Energy's portfolio of power distribution, energy storage, grid connection, onsite power generation, and integrated energy solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing consultative support and developing strategic account plans that optimize energy infrastructure for resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, technology partners, system integrators, engineering firms, and service providers while mapping key stakeholders to support long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with business unit sales teams, product management, regional hubs, and Siemens Energy business areas to deliver integrated solutions and ensure customer success.
  • Support go-to-market strategies and represent Siemens Energy at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to strengthen market presence and expand business opportunities.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the data center, energy, electrical infrastructure, industrial solutions, or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of energy infrastructure solutions, including power distribution, grid connection, backup power, onsite power generation, and related technologies.
  • Understanding of data center requirements and trends, including reliability, scalability, energy efficiency, sustainability, and CAPEX-driven projects.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, develop strategic customer accounts, and effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English; Spanish or German language skills are a plus. Willingness to travel across the US Eastern Region and internationally, with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset focused on driving growth and execution.
