TITLE: IT Network Engineer (Remote)

JOB MISSION: Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, the IT Network Engineer has responsibility for designing and supporting the day-to-day Network operations of the Cole Haan environment with connectivity across our North American corporate offices, international offices, cloud vendors, and retail stores. This individual will work with IT application teams, vendor teams, and internal support teams to support both project and operational efforts to enhance, stabilize, and maintain our network computing environment with a focus on efficiency, stability, functionality, and security.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Hardware Setup:Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points
  • Vendor Management:Work with vendors to drive issues resolution
  • Software Updates:Ensure network software is up-to-date with the latest patches and updates to maintain security and performance
  • Network Optimization:Continuously optimize network configurations to improve speed and reduce latency
  • Security Policies:Develop and enforce network security policies to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
  • Incident Response:Respond to incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Compliance:Ensure network security measures comply with industry standards and regulations
  • Monitoring Tools:Utilize network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and identify potential issues
