Job description

โ€ข Perform continuous improvement projects within Medline distribution centers using lean methodology
โ€ข Develop engineering labor standards and new processes
โ€ข Track and review monthly and annual KPIs with distribution centers
โ€ข Configure and maintain Medlineโ€™s labor management system (LMS) and warehouse management system (WMS)
โ€ข Rotate through transportation/logistics, project management and emerging technology, operations systems, operations analytics, maintenance, supply chain optimization, and inventory control
โ€ข Improve private fleet processes and implement new transportation technology
โ€ข Evaluate technology solutions and support Medlineโ€™s business abroad
โ€ข Oversee medium- to large-scale projects, including vendor and budget management
โ€ข Design and serve as product owner for software enhancements within an agile framework
โ€ข Support technology go-lives and existing software solutions
โ€ข Optimize warehouse item flow and key performance metrics
โ€ข Increase automation uptime and optimize forklift fleet management
โ€ข Improve customer-environment processes
โ€ข Enhance inventory accuracy, minimize losses, and ensure customer order quality

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Systems strongly preferred)
  • Internship experience in process improvement and/or project management is strongly preferred
  • Travel required 30% of the time
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
