Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Nondestructive Etch Trainee to join our growing team. To conduct daily Etch tests in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.

Salary: $20.50/hr DOE 

Responsibilities

Conduct daily Etch logs in accordance with written company procedures Process parts per Element procedures and/or specifications General knowledge of chemical processes performed at EMT Conduct Chemical additions Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent Etching metal plating experience a plus Familiar with testing codes and standards Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities. Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
