Overview
You love being a Christian Science nurse, you are a graduate of or very familiar with the Christian Science Nursing Arts, and you're eager to share your love, expertise, and experience as a Mentor-in other words, to support our Christian Science nurses as they move through the four levels of classroom and on-the-job training. Being a Mentor, you have clear ethics, sound judgement, excellent care skills, and an exemplary and broad practice, all of which enables you to lead with appreciation for individual progress and devotion to a high standard of care. Most of all, you're eager to share your experience and your love for Christian Science nursing to inspire others as they grow in this healing work!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor Christian Science nursing trainees to ensure care meets the standard of the Manual By-Law: Christian Science Nurse
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training for Christian Science Nursing trainees.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Training and Mentor team to align training with classroom instruction.
  • Maintain close contact with patients to assess needs and ensure proper, consistent care.
  • Provide constructive feedback for Christian Science nursing trainees' performance evaluations.
  • Continually refine your own nursing practice through mentorship, training, and hands-on patient care.

Education & Experience:
  • Journal-listed Christian Science nurse and actively demonstrating the Manual By-Law: Christian Science Nurse
  • Completed class instruction with an authorized Christian Science teacher.
  • Graduate of a recognized Christian Science nurses training program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Christian Science nursing facility.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Member of The Mother Church and an active branch church member.
  • Strong metaphysical clarity, judgment, ethics, and dedication to healing.
  • Thorough understanding of CSNA I & II course material and application in daily practice.
  • Exemplifies Christian Science nursing qualities in both personal and professional life.
  • Team player with demonstrated supervisory and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
