Job Location: Cocoa, FL
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Yard Foreman with a background in the crane, rigging, and transport industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities within our yard, including equipment storage, maintenance, and inventory control. Additionally, the Yard Foreman will oversee a team of yard workers and ensure that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities within the yard, including equipment storage, maintenance, and inventory control.
  • Assign tasks to yard workers and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, including tracking equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of equipment and materials for transportation, ensuring proper placement and securement.
  • Coordinate with project managers, dispatchers, and other team members to prioritize yard activities and meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of yard equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor yard workers on proper safety procedures, equipment operation, and maintenance practices.
