Must be willing to travel and work on-call 24/7, overtime begins at 4:00pm and on weekends. Drive tractor-trailers pulling heavy equipment to worksites, then working as a laborer for long hours (over 16 hours) at times. Primary role is to support field operations in train derailment recovery, track maintenance, railcar/container load adjustments, and freightcar repair. Experience in operating excavators, dozers, backhoes is a plus, this is a hands-on position working outdoors in ALL types of weather.
MUST have a Class A CDL with no restrictions on driving manual transmissions.
MUST be willing to work safe with NO exceptions
MUST be willing to work on-call 24/7, nights, holidays, and weekends
You will be part of an emergency response team and will need to pass E-Rail Safe training.
