About the Trailer Mechanic/Technician Role

As a Trailer Mechanic/Technician, youโ€™ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field-based role is perfect for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work. Youโ€™ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Commercial trailers.

Where Youโ€™ll Make an Impact

  • Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on Commercial trailers in a field environment.
  • Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, suspension and air systems โ€“ keeping trailers safe, compliant, and road-ready.
  • Repair structural and exterior components such as corner nose rails, corner radius, wheel seals, bottom skirts, panels, doors, and top rails.
  • Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right.
  • Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
  • Jump in wherever needed โ€“ we're a team that supports each other.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • At least 3 years of hands-on trailer tech experience working on Commercial trailers.
  • DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise that keeps fleets rolling safely.
  • Strong communication skills โ€“ you know how to connect and communicate with customers and drivers alike.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
  • Ready for the outdoors โ€“ rain or shine at customer yards.
  • Independent, dependable, and self-motivated โ€“ you take pride in getting the job done right.
  • A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
  • Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Bring your own hand tools and weโ€™ll supply everything else.
