A Trailer Manager oversees the operations, maintenance, and logistics of trailers used for transporting goods. Their responsibilities include scheduling trailer usage, coordinating repairs and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of drivers or logistics staff. They play a key role in optimizing fleet efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring that trailers are safe and roadworthy. Job Description

Job Summary

Are you a high-energy, customer-focused leader who loves hitches, horsepower, and... hot donuts? We are looking for a reliable and motivated Mobile Food Trailer Manager to take the wheel of our DonutNV franchise!

In this role, you will be the face of our mobile business. You will drive and operate our state-of-the-art donut trailer, serving up hot, fresh mini-donuts and freshly squeezed lemonades at local events, festivals, and private parties. Beyond operating the trailer, you will help us grow by actively booking new events and building relationships in the community.

No prior donut-making experience? No problem! We provide full, hands-on training on all equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trailer Operations & Driving

  • Safely drive and maneuver a Ford truck towing our mobile food trailer.

  • Expertly handle hitching, unhitching, backing up, and parking the trailer at various event venues.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck and trailer, reporting any maintenance needs.

2. Event Execution & Food Preparation

  • Set up and break down the trailer at event locations.

  • Operate all automated donut-making machinery and beverage equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Prepare and serve high-quality, hot mini-donuts and fresh lemonades according to brand standards.

  • Manage inventory and ensure the trailer is fully stocked for every shift.

3. Customer Service & Sales

  • Provide upbeat, friendly, and fast service to every customer.

  • Operate the Square POS system to accurately process cash and card transactions.

  • Outreach & Booking: Proactively research, reach out to, and secure new event bookings (schools, corporate events, weddings, festivals) to keep the calendar full.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Driving Experience: Proven experience driving large vehicles or towing trailers (experience towing a 15-20+ foot trailer is highly preferred).

  • Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving history are mandatory.

  • Customer-First Attitude: Naturally outgoing, energetic, and excellent at communicating with the public.

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using tablet-based POS systems (Square) and basic scheduling/communication apps.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying weather conditions (it’s a food trailer!), and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as these are peak event times.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive, paid initial training on all equipment, driving maneuvers, and recipes.

  • Competitive base pay plus tips.

  • Performance-based bonuses/commissions for booking new events.

  • A fun, dynamic work environment where you get to make people smile every day.
