The Traffic Officer is responsible for performing tasks related to ensuring the safety of staff, clients, and citizens. The Traffic Officer will work cohesively with other officers and certified flaggers to maintain safe traffic control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitors traffic at assigned intersection.
  • Ensures safe passage of all pedestrians and traffic.
  • Monitors flaggers and ensures safe positioning to properly flag traffic.
  • Observe all non-motorists to ensure they safely cross roadways.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Maintain a valid driver license.
  • Obtain, hold, and maintain a valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
