AdeptHR is Hiring Logistics Traffic Lead
Overview
The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for reviewing pick tickets to create, produce, & process BOLs and executing the daily traffic operations within the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate shipment of goods to customers, maintains Traffic records, effectively communicates with internal personnel, carriers/brokers, and supports related logistics functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate outbound, inbound & 3rd party shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review/Prepare shipping documents - create, produce, & process BOLs (bills of lading) and shipping labels
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight companies
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and invoice
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure shipping requirements are met
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies and issues with carriers
  • Monitor shipments to report shortages or overages
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
  • Assist team in the development and implementation of shipping procedures
  • Support warehouse staff with shipment discrepancies and labeling as needed
  • Perform data entry and maintain shipping logs
  • Generate reports related to shipping performance
  • Coordinate with Collect freight carriers for Collect shipments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Traffic area

Requirements
Must-Haves
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in traffic, logistics, or freight transportation operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with shipping/logistic software, TMS and ERP systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
The pay for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position working Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
