Job Description

Tradewin is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead our TradeDesk operations focused on dedicated key account operations as well as one of the HTS Classification verticals. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of 15–20 operational employees focused on:

  • HTS Classification
  • Shipment Management
  • Document Generation
  • Partner Government Agency (PGA) Requirements

The Managing Consultant will report directly to the Senior Manager of TradeDesk and play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the TradeDesk team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of HTS classification and shipment document creation.
  • Oversee compliance with PGA requirements and other regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Manage customer escalations and relationships to enhance customer partnerships.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management for team members.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HTS Classification, trade compliance, customs operations, or international logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of PGA regulatory frameworks and documentation standards.
  • Experience managing operational teams in a consulting or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customs Brokerage License
