Job description

Position Summary...What you'll do...The Trademark Senior Paralegal supports Walmart’s global trademark and copyright portfolios by maintaining dockets, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign formality requirements. Collaborate with and assist trademark attorneys, outside counsel, and business clients, with trademark-related inquiries and generate dashboards and reports to track internal trademark statistics using Anaqua.
What you’ll do…
• Support a global trademark portfolio by applying expert knowledge and understanding of U.S. and foreign trademark filing and prosecution practices and trademark formalities.
• Coordinate, support, and supervise outside counsel during all stages of trademark review, clearance, and opinion work, including trademark filing, prosecution, and renewals, managing of deadlines and facilitating signing and filing of documents.
• Manage and maintain an internal trademark database, ensure data quality, and generate dashboards and reports to track relevant trademark statistics and metrics.
• Establish and maintain internal best practices and procedures to support the company’s trademark program, including keeping and updating process documents and outside counsel guidelines.
• Assist trademark attorneys on all matters related to trademarks and copyright.
• Respond to routine business inquiries related to trademark and copyright matters.
• Develop and conduct training for business teams and other internal groups.

• Experience as a paralegal in the trademark practice area.
• Experience with Anaqua or a similar IP management system.
 • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with managing large dockets.
• Keen attention to detail.
• You are process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Familiarity with fashion law and experience conducting product reviews. Bentonville, Arkansas US-30010: The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00*
Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649: The hourly wage range for this position is $40.00 - $76.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

analyst, or otherwise performing the responsibilities of a paralegal as defined by Walmart’s job description OR a juris doctorate degree from an
