Senior Business Development Manager

If so, Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead expansion efforts across the Houston, TX market. This role will be based out of our Baytown, TX office, with a primary focus on developing and growing our presence throughout the greater Houston region.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing and expanding Triumvirate's footprint across Houston by delivering tailored, high‑value solutions to clients.

This role requires a proactive approach to sales, drawing on industry connections and market insights to drive growth while ensuring top‑tier customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the WOW to Triumvirate's internal and external customers!
  • Drive business development efforts across the Houston region, building a strong and sustainable client base.
  • Master and sell all of Triumvirate's service lines, partnering with internal technical and operations teams to deliver high‑value solutions.
  • Conduct strategic prospecting including leveraging referrals and networking at industry events and trade shows.
  • Identify and engage new prospective clients that align with our target customer profile.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory developments (RCRA, OSHA, environmental compliance) to provide strategic, tailored guidance.
  • Build and maintain long‑term, customer‑intimate relationships with key decision‑makers in Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing, Higher Education, and Healthcare.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipelines, track progress and ensure accountability.
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity within the Houston territory.
  • Travel throughout the Houston area to meet clients and attend events; occasional overnight travel may be required.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science or Environmental Studies.
  • 3+ years of successful consultative sales experience, preferably within the Environmental Services industry.
  • Experience with the Sandler structured sales methodology.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance and regulations, or a strong desire to develop subject matter expertise.
  • Must be a self‑starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
