About the Role:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be a key driver in the growth and expansion of Link Staffing’s footprint in the Houston Southwest market. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, cultivating strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our temporary staffing services in the light industrial and professional sectors.

The BDM will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and lead initiatives to expand the sales territory while enhancing inside sales operations. This position is vital to establishing long-term client partnerships and maintaining Link Staffing’s competitive position in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research in the light industrial and professional sectors.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue and placement goals.
  • Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, and networking to generate new leads.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through CRM tools and follow-up strategies.
  • Present and negotiate staffing contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures.
  • Expand sales territory and drive sustainable revenue through outbound sales efforts.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with new clients and decision-makers.
  • Act as a consultative partner to clients, understanding their workforce challenges and providing tailored staffing solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.

Sales Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on market feedback and data analytics.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and report performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:
