Job description

Connectivity encompasses the creation of mobile applications, the integration of digital experiences within BRP recreational vehicles, and the intelligent use of connected data to deliver seamless, end-to-end customer experiences.
In an environment where hardware and software must operate as a single, cohesive product, this role ensures that the digital experience remains a fully integrated, customer-driven, and strategically led capability across the organization.
Your role will be to define, lead, and protect a unified connected ecosystem, ensuring that mobile, embedded, cloud, and data platforms evolve under a coherent product and customer experience vision, rather than as fragmented or functionally siloed initiatives.
Your mission: to lead the vision, coherence, and end-to-end delivery of an integrated digital portfolio - mobile application, connected devices, and over-the-air (OTA) updates - across BRP's connectivity ecosystem, and to grow the multidisciplinary team that builds it.
You are the anchor point and the owner of the connected customer experience across the organization - keeping mobile, embedded, OTA, and data working as one ecosystem - and you lead, grow, and retain a team of digital experts who expect to be led by someone who understands their craft.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of BRP GO!, the OTA platform, and connected experiences while maintaining clear ownership of customer experience outcomes across all layers.

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary organization of 40+ experts, ensuring strong alignment across product, software engineering, UX/UI, QA, release management, and strategy functions.

  • Ensure excellence in software development practices, including Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, system reliability, and release management.

  • Drive a strong digital culture that attracts, develops, and retains top digital-native talent.

  • Lead budget planning, investment strategies, and business case development for the digital portfolio.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators, including adoption, engagement, quality, and customer satisfaction (e.g., NPS, app ratings, OTA success rates).

  • Partner with engineering (hardware and software), architecture, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and digital experiences.
Collaborate and influence R&D, Global Product Strategy, Design & Innovation, IT and the brands to align the organization around a shared connected vision.

  • Act as a key influencer across Engineering, Global Product Strategy, Design & Innovation, and Marketing teams to align on a shared, customer-centric vision.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product and software development, including 5+ years leading software teams that ship to customers at scale.

  • Proven leadership of large, multidisciplinary teams (30-50+ people) spanning digital strategy, product, engineering, and design, with a strong emphasis on software delivery.

  • Deep, credible software fluency for customer experience - mobile (iOS/Android, native or cross-platform), backend and cloud (Azure), APIs (REST / GraphQL), and ideally embedded / IoT and OTA - with enough depth to earn the trust of senior developers and to make sound technical and architectural trade-offs.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer-facing digital products at scale, ensuring both technical excellence and differentiated user experience based on user research and data

  • Solid understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software integration, with the ability to navigate constraints while maintaining CX integrity.

  • Proven ability to define and scale modern software operating models, including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and platform-based architectures.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and maintain clear ownership boundaries in complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Track record of building environments where digital-native teams can thrive, including engineers, designers, and product leaders.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision, technical depth, and organizational navigation, ensuring that digital initiatives remain cohesive, prioritized, and outcome-driven.

  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, investment trade-offs, and long-term roadmap alignment.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, enabling alignment across technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and partners outside Québec on a daily basis; bilingualism (French & English) required.
