Track Supervisors are professionals responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and repair of railroad tracks to ensure their safety and operational efficiency. They supervise track crews, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. Track Supervisors also inspect tracks for defects, schedule repairs, and keep detailed records of maintenance activities. Their role is vital for preventing accidents and ensuring the smooth operation of train services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a track supervisor?

Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills set standout supervisors apart. These skills and qualifications ensure the safe operation of railroads, efficient team coordination, and adherence to safety standards.

What's in Your Toolbox?

Why Join the GFL Family?
  • Stability: Work for an industry leader with a massive footprint and a "Green" future.

  • Growth: We value your leadership-your input helps drive hiring, promotions, and shop goals.

  • The Vibe: A fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your hard work is seen and rewarded.
