Job Summary
The Radiation Therapy Technician:
  • Administers radiation treatments according to the treatment prescription authorized by the radiation oncologist
  • Obtains images used to plan and target the radiation
  • Assesses patient condition prior to simulation/treatment administration
  • Provides patient education on an ongoing basis throughout the course of simulation/treatment.
