Premier Medical Associates P.C. is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our expanding outpatient pediatrics team located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position will be performed onsite at our hospital facility, allowing for direct patient interaction and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and support staff. The work setting is dynamic and designed to foster effective communication and teamwork among caregivers, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care for every patient.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including collecting health history, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring they align with the latest pediatric healthcare guidelines.
• Provide preventive care, including routine vaccinations and wellness checks, emphasizing the importance of health maintenance in children.
• Educate patients and their families on managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions, addressing concerns with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians on complex cases and participate in case reviews and staff meetings aimed at continuous improvement.
• Document all patient interactions and care rendered using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Handle any emergency situations within the pediatric setting with a calm and professional demeanor.

Our practice caters primarily to children and adolescents, encompassing a diverse patient demographic that includes low-income and ethnic minority populations. • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with an active state license in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric or family practice setting.
• For applicants who hold current Nurse Practitioner certification obtained before a Master’s degree was mandatory, related hands-on experience is allowed.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with diverse populations.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

• Previous experience working with underserved populations, demonstrating cultural competency and sensitivity.
• Familiarity with pediatric healthcare technologies and EHR systems.
• Strong customer service skills that meet and exceed patient expectations.
