The full-time schedule features regular hours Monday through Friday, with a 5:00 pm shift start, balancing work-life commitments while addressing urgent healthcare needs.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations to understand patient conditions.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies to guide treatment decisions.
• Diagnose and manage various acute illnesses, ensuring prompt care for common issues such as infections, injuries, and exacerbations of chronic conditions.
• Design and implement suitable treatment plans for chronic diseases, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
• Prescribe and manage medications, educating patients on their proper use while ensuring documentation adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain meticulous and organized health records, contributing to the efficient operation of the healthcare team.
• Patient education is crucial; guide patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and research initiatives to stay abreast of medical advancements and improve patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to patient care.

The Physician Assistant will serve a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting a variety of acute health issues. You will be responsible for recognizing the unique needs of patients from differing backgrounds and adapting your communication and care strategies accordingly. • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Valid state PA license (PA-C) and current DEA number; active certification required.
