Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Tower Climbers for projects located in or around the greater Houston, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate starts at $18/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Tower Climber and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Prep and paint transmission towers located primarily in the Greater Houston area
  • Climb and work at heights up to 350 feet
  • Maintain 100% tie-off while working at elevation
  • Follow all safety procedures and project requirements

Requirements:

  • No industrial painting experience required; client provides on-the-job training
  • Must be able to climb and work at heights up to 350 feet
  • Must maintain 100% tie-off at all times
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • TWIC Card is highly desirable but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug test
  • Must complete NFPA Electrical Safety and SE-SAFER courses
  • Must be safety-conscious and able to work in an outdoor environment
  • Must have PPE including light weight light colored long pants, long sleeve, lace up steel toe boots & extra clothes
