8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) Because the HR function is constantly evolving, we are looking for a dynamic HR Intern (Master's student and/or PhD track) in our Atlanta office to support key business initiatives. The intern will report directly to the VP of Talent and Development and should be eager to learn and make an impact. Essential Function - Roles/ResponsibilitiesThe experience is designed to provide opportunities to work directly with the HR team on the following potential projects: Performance ManagementHuman Resource AnalyticsAssistance with HRIS ImplementationEngagement Survey Rollout/Action Planning What does the internship experience look like?As an intern, you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the decision-making process. The experience will include: MentoringGroup Intern learning experiences and events Business/Senior Leadership exposureValuable project management experienceWhat will I gain from the internship? You will gain an understanding of the Altium Packaging business and a wealth of functional HR experience to develop leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration, presentation & public speaking skills, and experience with HR technology. Our interns participate in projects that add tremendous value to the company such as: performance management, data analysis, HRIS, M&A, employee engagement, total rewards, and talent acquisition. The skills you develop from this internship will serve you well in the rest of your HR education, as well as in your professional life.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
QualificationsEnrolled in an Industrial Organizational Psychology Master's Degree or PhD program.GPA minimum of 3.0 is required.Must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks, though 12 weeks is preferred (May-August)Strong candidates will also exhibit sound leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
