Job description

We are an American luxury lifestyle brand, founded in 2004. Anchored in the casual elegance of American sportswear, Tory's design philosophy is defined by effortless silhouettes, innovative materials, eclectic juxtapositions of color, and the tension of past and present. The collections include ready-to-wear, handbags, footwear, accessories, jewelry, home and beauty.

Empowering women is the company's guiding principle, expressed through Tory's collections and reflected in the company culture as well as the work of the Tory Burch Foundation. Established in 2009, the Foundation provides women entrepreneurs in the United States with access to capital, education and community.

You are seeking a work environment where people are encouraged to dream, explore, discover and, as important, laugh together. If you're prepared to work hard, create impact, and have fun while doing it, we would love to have you join #TeamTory. Apply today!

Life @ToryBurch is Special Because:

When you join us, you're joining a global, purpose-led company on an exciting growth journey with an amazing culture and great benefits.

  • Our culture is welcoming and inclusive -- everyone is empowered to make a difference.
  • We have the best team in the world and believe in paying competitively and rewarding for high performance.
  • Your overall well-being is important to us; we offer generous benefits to help you take care of your mental and physical health, create financial security, and achieve wellness in all areas of your life.
  • We love seeing our employees wear our beautiful collections. You'll receive a generous employee discount and access to exclusive sample sales.
  • We are invested in your professional growth - you'll have access to free executive coaching on-demand.
  • We believe in the importance of giving back and you'll have many opportunities to do just that through the Tory Burch Foundation and paid volunteer days.

This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:

You are a community weaver, systems thinker, and relationship strategist. The Senior Manager, Community is a builder and connector who shapes what it means to be part of the Tory Burch Foundation community of Fellows, advisors, and industry partners. This role elevates the Foundation's community function, with an expanded mandate to deepen the Fellows Experience, strengthen relationships across every stakeholder group, and drive an aggressive plan to scale the size and impact of the Foundation's network, all in service of advancing women entrepreneurs. You will partner closely with the Vice President of Experience and collaborate cross-functionally with the Partnerships and Marketing teams to build a community framework that grows with Fellows and partners over time.

A Day in the Life:

No two days in this role look exactly alike, and that's by design. You might start your morning on the Circle platform, checking in on Fellow conversations, responding to engagement threads, and surfacing a timely connection between a founder in Chicago and an advisor in our network who can open a door. You'll pulse the health of the community across digital and in-person touchpoints, knowing that what makes this network special isn't just what Fellows have access to, it's how it feels to belong to it.

You'll spend real time thinking about the architecture of belonging. That means co-creating the rituals, language, and practices that make a first-year Fellow's onboarding feel distinct from the experience of a fifth-year Fellow who's now mentoring others. You'll partner with the Vice President of Experience to shape and safeguard the invisible structure (community framework) that makes the Fellows Experience feel intentional, not accidental. Some days this looks like workshopping language for a welcome sequence. Others, it's designing a new milestone ritual or rethinking how new cohorts are introduced into the broader network.

You own the Foundation's digital community experience on Circle, ensuring the platform functions as a resource-sharing, sticky engagement hub for Fellows. That means developing a comprehensive content calendar, programming engagement moments, analyzing what's resonating, and continuously raising the quality and consistency of the experience. You'll extend that ownership across all platforms (in-person gatherings, digital touchpoints, and moments inside the broader Tory Burch organization) to ensure Fellows feel seen and connected wherever they show up.

You'll carry an ambitious growth mandate. That means supporting an aggressive plan to expand the Fellows cohort, deepen "Pathway" programming, and grow the broader entrepreneur network. You'll identify new channels, partnerships, and program extensions, and you'll own the KPIs that measure whether we're actually moving the needle.

And lastly, you'll close the loop. Designing and deploying feedback mechanisms including surveys, pulse checks, and structured conversations to help keep the community healthy and evolving. You'll translate what you hear into community development strategies and bring them to the broader team with both the insight and the implementation plan. The goal is a community that gets better because it's genuinely being listened to.

To Land This Role:

  • Successful track record managing communities, ideally within a mission-driven or entrepreneurship-focused organization.
  • Experience mobilizing communities around a shared mission, including activating members, cultivating peer leaders, building trust, and increasing meaningful participation over time.
  • Demonstrated success managing community and platforms (e.g., Circle, Mighty Networks, Skool or similar) and executing engagement strategies.
  • Experience using workflow automations, CRM systems and digital tools (e.g. Monday, G-Suite, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic, scale-oriented community-building initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience representing an organization across multiple channels.
  • Self-Starter - must manage up, be action and detail oriented and a pro-active problem-solver.
  • Experience in live event and meeting software including Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
  • High sense of urgency, timeliness and commitment to follow-through.
  • Highly collaborative team player - no task is too big or too small.
  • Background in Communications, Sociology, Customer Success or related field preferred.
