Location Hybrid in Richmond, Virginia. Note Requires at least 4 years of litigation experience. Experience in complex tort, product liability, asbestos, or similar high exposure civil litigation is strongly preferred. They represent corporate clients as national and local counsel in complex tort matters including asbestos, product liability, transportation litigation, and other general tort claims.   • Handle complex tort litigation matters for corporate clients
  • Support trial preparation and trial execution
  • Oversee discovery directed to firm clients including coordination and responses
  • Assist with preparation and defense of company fact and expert witnesses
  • Manage and coordinate local counsel across the country
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and substantive legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy with the team
  • Partner closely with attorneys to drive matters forward efficiently
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Experience with discovery management and working with expert witnesses
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage deadlines
  • Team player with leadership and client service mindset
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Bar admission in Virginia is preferred. Strong candidates licensed elsewhere with a clear path to Virginia licensure may be considered
