Requirements
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school or be in the process of obtaining one immediately upon employment
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the bar exam as soon as possible
• Ranked in the top 25% of law school class
• Minimum of 3 years legal experience
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong passion for Mass Torts litigation
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ranked in the top 10% of law school class
• Participation in mock trial, moot court and/or law review
• Judicial clerkship or litigation internship experience
• Prior Mass Tort experience
Job Duties:
• Conduct legal research on mass tort issues, including case law and applicable statutes
• Draft and file pleadings including, motions, complaints and other documents in an accurate and timely manner
• Assist with the management of multiple mass tort cases, including tracking deadlines, filing documents, and coordinating with clients and experts
• Develop case strategy and assist in building compelling case narratives
• Handle client communications and build good rapport with our clients
• Assist with the litigation process, including preparation for depositions, hearings, and aiding with trial preparation
• Coordinating with our expert team of paralegals, litigation assistants and attorneys
