Job description

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Topology Planning is looking for a Supply Chain Manager, North America (NA) who has experience in analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and technology experience to join our team. In this position, the individual will own mid to long term topology strategy, short and long term build plan management, and topology optimization tools for AMZL delivery stations planning. This position requires working with multiple stakeholders across various supply chain functions like Transportation, WW Real Estate, Design Engineering, Pre-construction, Launch Planning, Finance, Operations, Capital Planning, etc.

This role is high visibility, requiring regular interaction with senior leadership team and involves critical 1-way door decision making. In this position, the Supply Chain Manager also develops and implements ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying the site selection to site launch process life-cycle, infuse AI in daily workstreams to improve productivity, and work on automation and tool development with key stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Own 3YF AMZL Last Mile POR Execution and delivery to secure incremental capacity
- Improve topology optimization engine/tools used on a daily/weekly basis for greater accuracy and productivity
- Work with multiple stakeholders (10 to 12) across various supply chain functions like outbound transportation, engineering, launch, finance, operations, sales and operation planning to successfully deliver POR
- Develop and implement ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying the process, creating additional value, and driving automation
- Identify opportunities and influence organizations to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion
- Communicate expectations and requirements equally well with business and technology teams
- Write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals
- Perform data analysis and utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenge.
