Job description

Entry Level Extrusion Operator 47972

6am-6pm on rotating schedule including some weekends

6pm-6am on rotating schedule including some weekends


Operate extrusion equipment and do general labor tasks for plastics production. We are open to entry level candidates but some manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to understand all operations & materials on production Job Traveler.
  • Assist in basic extrusion setups with assistance of experience Technician with accuracy.
  • Identify cold & hot sheet in extrusion process & adjust knives & shear to insure correct sheet size.
  • Ensure materials are kept at full level for oncoming crew.
  • Maintain daily journal and daily log run sheets.
  • Able to start up and shut down extrusion equipment.
  • Able to perform general & preventative maintenance functions.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training strongly preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
