Your role
Chicago Pneumatic has an exciting opportunity for a Industrial Tools Sales Associate to support growth across the Industrial and MRO markets.
In this developmental role, you will work alongside experienced Technical Sales Engineers (TSEs) to support territory growth through customer engagement, distributor development, lead generation, sales support activities, and CRM management. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and a clear path for career growth within our commercial organization.
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed for future advancement into a Technical Sales Engineer role.
Location: Dallas, TX or Louisiana area
Travel: Up to 70%, primarily within the assigned territory
International Travel: May be required, including Mexico and Canada
In This Role, You Will:
  • Support territory growth through prospecting, lead generation, customer engagement, and distributor development activities
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, channel partners, and end users to drive sales growth.
  • Participate in customer visits, product demonstrations, training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings.
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within target industrial markets.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other sales enablement tools to manage opportunities, track activities, and maintain customer records.
  • Support product demonstrations, technical presentations, and promotional activities.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, project information, and sales documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Sales Engineer and broader sales team to support customer needs and drive profitable growth.

To succeed, you will need
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and end users to drive business growth.
  • Presenting products, delivering technical information, and conducting customer training and demonstrations.
  • Supporting sales growth through prospecting, customer engagement, and business development activities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and deliver solutions that create value for customers and Chicago Pneumatic.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical, vocational, or post secondary education preferred, particularly in a trade-related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, business development, industrial, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in industrial markets, manufacturing, distribution sales, oil and gas, or applications utilizing controlled bolting equipment is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create and deliver customer presentations.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
  • Ability to leverage LinkedIn and other professional platforms for prospecting and customer engagement.
