DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: • Develop, maintain, and support Windows PC applications and libraries used for game content creation • Design and build new tools and improve existing ones to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks • Collaborate with tool users and engineers to gather requirements, identify issues, and deliver effective solutions • Proactively engage with implementers to surface, document, and address pain points • Drive full lifecycle of tools: implementation, documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement • Quickly learn and navigate unfamiliar codebases with minimal documentation • Communicate clearly and consistently with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution • Ask thoughtful questions and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and problem solving • Estimate work and contribute to team iteration planning • Continuously expand technical knowledge by working across new areas of the toolset • Contribute as a member of the broader engineering team to meet project and studio commitments *This job description outlines primary duties and requirements and is not intended to identify all tasks that may be performed; individuals occupying the position may be required to perform other duties. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: • Proficiency building Windows desktop applications with C# / WPF • Strong understanding of MVVM patterns • Ability to design intuitive, user-friendly GUIs • 2 - 6 years' experience in game development or related industry preferred. PREFERRED: • Understanding of UI/UX principles • Knowledge of internal WPF implementation details • Experience creating new, reusable UI controls • Previous GameDev experience • Familiarity with build pipelines • Familiarity with workflows needs of different departments.
