Build Precision Tools That Help Improve Patient Care

We're looking for an experienced Tool Maker to join our Tool Room team. If you have a background in machining, mold making, CAD/CAM programming, and plastic injection molding, this is an opportunity to grow your career with an innovative and collaborative organization.

What You'll Do

As a Tool Maker, you'll help design, build, maintain, and repair tooling used in our plastic injection molding and manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, build, repair, and maintain molds, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and tooling.
  • Create and modify 3D models using Pro/ENGINEER (ProE) software.
  • Convert CAD drawings into CAM programs for CNC machining.
  • Analyze blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine machining processes.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare metal stock for machining operations.
  • Set up and operate manual machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Machine parts to precise tolerances and verify finished components meet specifications.
  • Modify and repair existing tooling as needed.
  • Build and repair plastic injection molds by machining, fitting, assembling, and finishing precision metal components.
  • Operate machining equipment to produce mold cavities and external mold features according to engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Technical school degree or 5+ years of related Tool Maker experience.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with plastic injection molding.
  • CAD/CAM programming experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience interpreting plastic injection mold tooling prints and engineering drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling design, and shop mathematics.
  • Experience with CNC programming and precision machining.
